Karen's Story....
This page was not composed by Karen. It was put together by some of her closest friends, with input from many people who she came to know after having been diagnosed with breast cancer over three years ago.
Karen lives in Conroe, Texas. She was born in Houston and has lived in the area all her life. She works as an accounting/ office manager for Napco Chemical, Inc., Spring, Texas.
We have yet to meet anyone who does not agree that Karen is a truly remarkable person. She has had breast cancer and kidney cancer. In both cases she had surgery, made a speedy recovery and got back on with her life. But this is only the beginning of what makes Karen the wonderful woman she is.
What anyone who meets her will find is that their life is made brighter – it only takes a few short moments, a brief conversation – always accompanied by laughter. She is such a courageous, positive, and above all caring woman. What amazes many people is despite all she has been though, she is one of the most selfless, generous people you could ever have the good fortune to meet.
Read her book....share in her wonderful sense of humor....and learn that laughter really is the best medicine of all.
